Dear CPAC Sponsors,

Registration has begun for the Semiannual CPAC Sponsor Meeting on May 3-5, 2010 at Hotel Deca, 4507 Brooklyn Avenue, in Seattle's University District.  Preliminary details including a registration form can be found here.

CPAC Spring 2010

CPAC invites you to participate in our May 3-5, 2010 Seattle, WA, CPAC’s 26th  Spring Meeting.  Our program will open on Monday with a Kick off overview of CPAC, several Technical Presentations, UW Technology Overview and Highlights, Historical Review of CPAC looking at students and projects, poster session, and a reception that includes vendor displays and our 25th Anniversary Recognition.

Tuesday will be spent with presentations of 2009-10 CPAC Supported Projects and 2010-11 Proposed New Research Proposals.  The evening will conclude with an additional Poster Session and Dinner on-campus at the UW Club.

Wednesday includes four events.  The morning will be spent with presentations from the balance of the 2009-10 CPAC Supported Projects and 2010-11 New Research Proposals.  These talks will be followed by the Industrial Focus Groups – Materials & Chemical Processes and Oil and Petrochemical as well as Biotechnology/Pharmaceuticals and Food and Consumer Products which will meet separately and then jointly.  The General Meeting concludes in mid-afternoon.  The CPAC Industrial Advisory Board (IAB) will meet late afternoon until 5:00 PM.

The meeting provides formal and informal opportunities for networking.  CPAC Graduate Students look forward to meeting with you and talking about their research.  We ask that our sponsors consider taking our graduate students to lunch during the week as a way to increase their level of exchange.

WEBINAR

CPAC will offer a Webinar connection during presentations in the CPAC Fall Meeting to our CPAC Sponsors if we have four participating sponsors or receive $2,000 to support this service.  Our feedback has indicated that this provides an excellent opportunity for a sponsor to expand their company interest base by allowing other sponsor researchers to hear about current projects.  However, the costs cannot be covered without sufficient participation.  Sign-up details are provided on the registration form found below.
