Minimum Requirements:
MS with a minimum of 5-7 years of relevant
industrial experience. Experience in the areas of industrial Vibrational
Spectroscopy or analytical spectroscopy applied to process monitoring and
control. A good working knowledge of Regulatory and GMP requirements. Proven
ability to communicate and collaborate within project teams.
Details:
An opportunity has arisen within the Chemical
Development Division for a process analyst to lead the Process Analytical team
at RTP. As a member of Global Process Analytical team in the Strategic
Technologies Department you will be expected to collaborate with other
analytical, synthetic and process chemists to develop in-situ analytical methods
and techniques that generate understanding and optimization of API manufacturing
processes. This position will require the utilization of analytical equipment,
process monitoring data and multivariate analysis tools to develop in-situ
analytical methods to support our new and existing products.
The successful candidate will have:
A scientific background in analytical sciences,
ideally with vibrational spectroscopy and process analysis experience, however
other analytical skills will also be considered. The application of chemometrics
to spectroscopy or analytical process data would be advantageous.
A proven track record in planning and carrying out
experimental studies.
Highly effective interpersonal, organizational and
cross-cultural communication skills as well as an ability to work within a
multi-disciplinary international scientific team
Demonstrated experience in documenting experimental
work to validated standards suitable for inclusion in regulatory submissions.
Grade level will be determined by experience and
level of scientific skills.
