Thesis: Desorption Kinetics of Small n-Alkanes from MgO(100), Pt(111), and C(0001)/Pt(111) and Studies of Pd Nanoparticles: Growth and Sintering on Al2O3(0001) and Methane Dissociation on MgO(100)

Current: Postdoc at Max Planck Institute for Solid State Research in Stuttgart, Germany funded by a postdoctoral fellowship from the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation.

Work While at UW:

  • Sintering Kinetics of Palladium Nanoparticles on Alumina (co-advised by Prof. Sam Fain, Physics)
  • Alkane Adsorption on MgO(100) and on Pd Nanoparticles on MgO for Nanocatalysis (co-advised by Zdenek Dohnalek and Bruce Kay, Pacific Northwest National Laboratory)
